Sharks, if they wanted, could wait and have their pick between one of Berube, Condon or Hutchinson. No sense giving up an asset

I think it's a farce what the Isles are doing with Berube. I can understand the shenanigans last year because of the waiver rules, but they have no excuse this year. They're holding him hostage again and ****ing with his potential career. Waive him, too bad if he's claimed and hope he clears.

Reminds me of Kevin Hodson, who was ruined by the Red Wings doing the same thing twenty years ago.

i could see Condon, but i think the other two options are likely to be Greiss and Pavelec.

seems like the Sharks fans are happy with Dell. no deal, i guess.

Snow has shown that he will carry Berube all year, and i really don't see any need to get rid of him. it's not really a 3-headed monster, as Berube is not taking any starts from the other two. he is just an expensive insurance policy for this year.

I really like Berube, and apparently Garth Snow likes him too. I'd be shocked if they put him on waivers or trade him. Plus, he's already proven himself in the NHL (in my opinion) and seems too talented for the AHL (his brief stint last year he was dominant on a crappy team).

Well, I wouldn't say definitively that Sharks fans are happy with Dell. We're just in a "wait and see" mode to see how he actually performs in the role once given the opportunity. If he ends up being anywhere near as bad as Stalock was last season, I expect Doug Wilson to have a much quicker hook to yank him out and replace him with a veteran from somewhere. Dell has good AHL numbers, so he's worth at least trying out so we see what we have.

So yeah, If Dell is struggling come November or early December sometime, come talk to us then about a trade. Until that scenario happens, though, probably no interest.
