I was watching that period of the game and was not completely focused on the screen and it felt like a Blues player sucked his stick in like a jedi from Star Wars and thought hey, I'm imagining things.

At least it was closer than I thought now looking at that snippet. :laugh:

Heh, that was pretty cool, although as someone else pointed out, should have been a penalty.

I don't know if it's the gif/video-work but I can't see that backes' blade goes in under the stick on ice.

Skill move, but should have technically been a penalty.

I believe only if it interferes with the puck, puck carrier or other opposition player. Players clear sticks away all the time. This is really no different.
