It was a 2 minute boarding. Alzner probably got cut by his own visor.

Not only should it be a 5 min major but the league should see this kind of act as suspension worthy. Backes is on Alzner's back the whole way. Only seeing his numbers. Alzner has NO WAY to defend himself. Backes finishes him off hard into the boards causing injury.

This kind of garbage needs to be out of the game.

Just because he hasn't been suspended doesn't mean he's clean. We all know the DoPS is a joke.

Backes toes the line between edgy and dirty and I never have had much issue with other fans complaining about him because that's how he plays and I generally approve.

That being said he just triumphantly danced across the aforementioned line and should sit for a couple of games.

Take your homer glasses off. Backes was looking at #27's back the whole way. You don't run into a player's back so close to the boards. Besides, Alzner's head was really low.

Backes did something stupid, he should be suspended for that.
