Ok, so let's see.

Complain after:

Lose and look bad analytically: Check

Win and look bad analytically: Check

Lose and look good analytically: Check

And finally today is my favorite, win and look good analytically: Check

So this board has all of the complaining bases covered.

They beat a bottom 3 team in a 32 team league, at home, by a goal and cheek clench at the end of the game. And SJS hit multiple posts. And they didn't start on time, again.

The complaining is warranted and well deserved. If they played like 27 other teams in the league they lose

What the f*** is up with Miller man? I once thought this guy could be like Hedman.
>spits on Doughty, gets suspended
>out for mental health reasons, misses two games
>injures the most fragile dude on the roster with a braindead no-awareness play
It's no coincidence at this point he's got severe issues and is a detriment to this roster.

So winning by a goal is bad because goals matter but beating the Red Wings by 4 goals is bad because goals don't matter.

Kind of surprised to hear we looked good analytically. Outside of about 75% of the 2nd period I wouldn't have thought there'd be much that was positive

I'm glad they found a way to win against a team that's in their bracket, as far as 5v5 play goes.

I'm glad they didn't embarrass themselves (though they almost did). But I'm not gonna celebrate that, especially when we probably just lost our only good player besides panarin this year.

Ok, so maybe we need a third criterion, eye test and a 4th strength of team, and finally winning by a wide margin.

We will complain unless we do all of the following:

1) Win

2) Look good analytically

3) Pass the eye test

4) Beat a great team

5) Win in blowout fashion
