Don't be an asshole, because it'll give you a reputation that means you won't get the benefit of the doubt. Anyone uncomfortable with what was being asked, were, at least partially, uncomfortable in the context of it being Babcock and knowing the things he has done to players in the past. Maybe it was all innocent enough from his perspective, but the baggage he carried was all his own doing. An absurd move for CBJ to bring hire him in the first place knowing his reputation and how little actual contrition he had shown. Good rule for life, good rule for hockey. Don't be an asshole.
