Hope its a two way deal.

It really sucks we have so many uncertain injuries, our proscouts can totally cook and find some good players if we gave them some cap space.

He was fine enough... played well in the playoffs, but during the season he fell off to where the Avs felt they'd have to replace him. Hopefully a bit more consistent and hopefully he comes cheap.

Forgettable player in the regular season but credit to him, he managed to be effective in the playoffs. Ideally we never see him above 4th line minutes though.

I'm assuming league minimum.

I think he's a fine 4th liner or 13th forward. A position we'll probably want to upgrade at the deadline, but should be serviceable enough for the first 60 games of the year.

I'm fine with this, he was a good soldier and he steps up his play during the playoffs

Unfortunately for us and our Cap-crunched depth, he's going to be playing 70-something games

Like it as he knows our system, tight with Mikko, looked decent in the playoffs....think he will be solid on the 4th line and better than new unknown commodities.

Do you know what a two way deal means? The only thing it affects, is the salary in the minors. Are you cheering because Kroenke is saving a few extra bucks when Kiviranta is with the Eagles?

Two way has zero effect on waivers and whatnot. Zero.

Solid depth guy. Better than others the Avs have tried in that #12-14 role. That's the most important thing IMO.

Started well last season, then had a dip in performance which isn't uncommon for 4th liners, then stepped it up again in the playoffs.

Going back to his Dallas days, he seems to step up in the playoffs often too. Those are the kind of 4th liners you want to sign/keep.
