Big deal can become truth. My thoughts are on two strong scorers. Two NHLers with great scoring merits. NHLers with 1 and 3 Cup titles. Two worth saying are Rantanen and Crosby. In the beginning Crosby started slow lately Crosby has started to produce 1 point per game on average at the moment. Rantanen's season has been ok, a top fifteen scorer as long as. I think the Avalanche should repeat the Oilers center quality MacKinnon plus Crosby in the top two center pair, of course I wish the Rantanen-Crosby transition between the Avalanche and the Penguins, obviously Rantanen would be a huge asset for the Penguins' winning streak, obviously Crosby may play as long as six years to.

Crosby will likely retire in Pittsburgh and the Avs already filled the 2C spot with Mittelstadt, who is doing very well there and will likely improve more once Drouin and Nichushkin return this week.

Crosby has said, on numerous occasions, that he wants to finish his career in Pittsburgh. Enough times to where threads like this should be unnecessary.

Rantanen doesn't fit the Penguins rebuild.

I often find people from Nordic countries are about as fluent in English as many native English speakers. Obviously some exceptions, but the whole post made no sense at all.

Mikko Rantanen, he sat in airplane to Pittsburgh. He look to window, thinking too much. In Colorado , this is for Mikko, with team, with friends. But hockey life is strange and fast. One day favored good player, next day he say, "problem is you," and send you away.

Pittsburgh? Mikko don’t know much to it . Some rivers, cold maybe, steel city. When he walked in locker room first time, guys there smile, they nod. One hit his shoulder, “Let’s see what you got, Mikko.” Not many words, but he feel small warm in heart.

First game comes fast. Mikko heart beats so much hard. Then, puck drop, and he feel something strong, like before. Like he is home, almost. He score two goals! Fans cheer, scream his name. For small time, he forgets all, just happy on ice. Not Finland, not Colorado, but maybe place for him.

Pittsburgh feels strange, but good, like calm lake at home in Finland. And in cold nights, he finds maybe Mikko is strong again, like he once was.

• both tkachuks (maybe even walt)
• all three hughes brothers (should be easy)
• charlie conway (from the mighty ducks)

i think they could probably land rantanen by trading it all to colorado

if not, i think 3 new canadian franchises might be more likely
