Letang didn't have an easy out because Nichushkin was in the passing lane to POJ and the wingers were covered.

Letang was trying to gather the puck and pin it along the boards because he didn't really have an outlet to where he was sitting. Crosby was just sitting at the top of the circle while POJ was sitting behind Nichushkin, neither of those guys were supporting Letang at all.

I mean he should have ringed it around the boards, even if it's giveaway. Better than turning it over in the death zone.
