Next question. What is his approach and philosophy to defensive coverage in the Avs zone? Has it been described or quoted somewhere?

I.e.; the Avs MELT under sustained forechecking by opponents and end up chasing pucks and leaving the front of the net wide open. Repeatedly.

It seems to me that their top priority focus is transitioning the puck as quickly as possible to skating forwards. Quickest possible recover and movement.

The goalie is on their own. (Which is one of the reasons Georgiev didn't fit here. You couldn't leave him hanging out there...)
