I feel like we don't give Toews enough credit around here. He was all but written off by a lot of fans before the season and here he is 5th in team scoring eclipsing 40 points while providing super consistent defensive efforts each night. It's no surprise Makar has had such a strong year too, when Toews is playing like this he tends to be at his best.

Toews has been a different player since the holiday break. I don’t know what sort of magic he had performed during it but it’s been incredible the change

Yeah, he was an honorable fighter and actually tried like hell to play a real role for the team beyond that.

Since he's moved to the booth, he's really provided some great moments. He's a Maxy in the making for Columbus.

New guys doing their part. A bit of an ugly goal for Nelson but goal scorers get those to go. Lindgren looks so solid out there.

Lehk should never have to defend down low as long as he had to on the goal against.

Cogliano never had anything close to 25 goals and 60 points in a season like Coyle has. I guess the closest for Cogs would be when he had a 21 goal season but only 42 points

Cogs was an energy player who did the job not a lot of people like to do on a team. Was a leader and a good teammate

Cogs started out with some offensive punch but eventually realized where his bread would be buttered.

Coyle is much more two-way, in my opinion. That doesn't mean that I like him more than Calvert, just that they play different games. Both have a place on a championship team.
