So anyway, I talked to the secret counsel and we're going to do a prospect pool draft after the 23-man draft if you guys would like to.

It's players that are considered prospects by Hockey's Future and everyone will have six picks to draft a prospect pool. Everyone eligible for the prospect draft are also eligible to be drafted in the main draft before they reach the prospect draft. If you are not interested in doing the prospect draft, let it be known.

Auto-draft during the main draft will be done according to NHL.com's Fantasy Top-200 for the 2016-17 season. If you know you'll miss a pick, you can send a list of targets to me or probably TV or Lonewolfe or someone else if they're on and I ain't.

Auto-draft during the prospect draft will be done according to Hockey's Future's top 100 ranking, which is also a go-to resource in the prospect draft if you don't know who you can or should pick.

The draft clock hasn't been decided on yet. Also, I can't control the autoing at all times, so if we just try to get through this without a lot of that.

Any additional thoughts and comments on this are appreciated.

I think Monahan needs at least 6, the others I don't object to. Trouba and Risto I think sign long term for more or could do a cheaper bridge so I guess that splits the difference.

I can agree with that, the defenders were hit or miss, I could see 5-5.25 or 6, so I went middle of the road. No sense in worrying about 250-500k.

Ristolainen perhaps a bit less, in the 4.5-5.0M range for long term, similar to the deals Brodie, Hamilton, Josi, Klingberg, etc. have all signed.
