Is Misa ready? SINCE HE ALREADY will have played 3 seasons in the OHL(entering as a Special Status 15 year old) there is nothing more he can learn in the OHL..

However so far in 3 playoff games he is -8 ...sovfar failing to rise to the level of 2 way effectiveness expected from his great regular season...we all know playoff hocjey gets more physical abd intense.. could this be a sign hevis not yet physically mature to handle the pros?
If Saginaw gets knocked out by Erie he still gets a redemption chance tovshowxhe can be much positive in 5x5 like hexwas in the regular season.

Or maybe he and his underwater line including Chernyshov who destroyed the OHL in regular season but who also is posting a bad minus at evens in this series with Erie, will wake up and re-assert the dominance they displayed in the regular season..

So we shall see if they wakeup or not..Just that ithas not been normal for Misa and his line to get scored on as much as it has played out so far.
Then again,who knew Martin Misiak would explode as he has (so far) and post such a high positive at evens?

Still tone for Saginaw to comeback and win the series...won the last game dueto Zayne Pareyk so down 2-1 in the series...We shall see if Saginaw cones back to winter as they were expected to...or not.

The difference in game was Avs willingness to shot puck and Hawks refusal to shoot puck and instead try the perfect pretty pass

what are the reports on Rinzel and Moore? More continued good from their first game?

For the most part. Rinzel paired with Vlasic and spent a lot of time hemmed in against MacKinnon, but more or less held his own. Had a moment where he *almost* caught MacKinnon when the latter had a step on him on a rush from the Avs' blue line. Less ooh-aah moments than his debut but showed some skill and some real solid poise with the puck. Will need to get much stronger but that pairing with Vlasic could be an absolute terror down the road.

Moore flashed speed and made some nice plays in transition. Made a few solid plays on the PK. Tracked MacKinnon pretty well on some dzone shifts and played well in OT. Almost burst through the middle to create a chance in regulation but Toews made a nice recovery to take the puck off him after he was beat.

Levshunov and Rinzel are flashing. They didnt play good IMO but its very nice to see the potential. Bedard had a great 3rd but got a little lost in the 1st and 2nd. Murphy played one of his best games of the season. Knights positioning on his glove seems to be off but I have no idea what I am talking about with goalies.

Moores skating and defense flashed. Slaggert is a 4th liner. Nazar could be very good. Finish a bit more and we are in business.

The telegraphed Levshunov drop pass in the neutral zone on the PP is going to kill me.

I think the Hawks have someone that can fix any problems he is having.

Only had the chance to watch now. I'm not sure how the GDT went, but this team is improving so much. You can see the runway, and it's going to come soon.

I think Lev just doesn't have natural offensive chemistry yet with anyone. He's a little random and unexpected and I can see it the most with Bedard but it seems he's expecting different than what Lev will do.

He's been impressive so once the chemistry is there, it will be awesome.

Signing Marner + drafting Misa + trading KK for a forward would go so far the finishing the core of this rebuild.

Misa future 1C, Nazar 2C, and you just have to hope Moore has enough offense for being the 3C but really let his defensive game be what anchors him in that role.

The future is bright.

I agree the future is bright but see Boisvert as the 2 C. Nazar and Bedard as wingers.
