Hes better as in defending his zone. Not in skating or transition offense. Basically pick your poison. Either you keep up with the Avs speed with Korchinski or you try and stop the bleeding from their elite forwards in EDM.

For the record, I would've sat Murphy for EDM but I understand why it's better to have a veteran presence who also can keep a young guy playing his strong side. But man.. Murph usually struggles against fast teams.

Skating yes. EDM has no trouble moving the puck though. See the last game he played where sprung whoever it was on a breakaway.
