Also what the hell was Drouin day dreaming about when that glove save happened? What a complete disaster after the Nelson goal, play like that is what costs you playoff series. Hope Bednar plays that on rerun after the game

Absolutely. Even joked that should we get there we should have swapped him out with Wedgewood. But that's because my memory of Wedgewood in shootouts is that he's pretty damn good at them.

Blackwood looked great tonight in the shootout though, and he was very sharp early on as well. That first glove save in the shootout though, where he never even dropped to the butterfly was pretty impressive. Man takes up a lot of space in the net.

BBW was able to at least be solid in the shootout.
The small silver lining to the whole thing is that they snuck out with a win even after a collapse. Not too long ago they’d have found a way to lose that in regulation.

Shades of the Dallas game, where they just completely unravel for about 2-3mins and the other team buries them. Second line was awesome, MacKinnon line sucked. Oh well, great to see them get the win despite how it went. Go Avs!

Feels icky in the end but realistically Montreal has been playing well and it is the Bell center on a Saturday night. Couldn't have expected to control the game all night. Collapse was real ugly though.

You’d like to see one of those saved but with that being said you can’t have a 10-15 min span of play/defense play like that, he got them the two points tonight
