I have never understood why you guys wanted Mikko away from MacK on the second line.
MacK is our best forward and a playmaker. Mikko is our second best forward and a sniper.
You simply keep them together and at least consistently have one line that can overwhelm the opposition.
“Mikko has to drive his own line.” He won’t so why force it?
“Mack is good enough to play with anybody.” So we decide not to get the best out of him by taking away his sniper?
I don’t give a f*** about trying to get something out of the second line when it impacts the first line and overall makes us weaker.

Yes and no. Not as bad defensively, but definitely that bad offensively. The Caps just don't let us skate. They muck up everything and it's absolutely frustrating MacK. High pressure defensive teams always give us fits.

Are we trading MacKinnon away?
This is what I know:
When they’re together, MacK is the best forward in the game and Rantanen is one of the best goal scorers in the game.
Why the hell do I care to test what they can do without each other?
“Hey Gretzky, yeah you get 100 assists with Kurri but how about with some shitters?”
“Ok Ovi, you score 60 goals with Backstrom so let’s see what you can do with some shitters!”
None of this makes any f***ing sense to me.
I'd try swapping Nuke and Lehhky first. Or Nuke and.. nvm, there is no one else.

So to prove some point, you want to make the team worse?
I repeat… with MacK as his center, Mikko is a 50 goal scorer and absolutely worth that money. Nobody else on the team can score goals like he can.
Why do we care that he can’t anchor his own line? When they’re together, they’re unstoppable!

I think the boys just look low energy, because they're all over em and not letting them skate how they like.
No I want to make the team better. The point will prove itself.
And no, they're not unstoppable they're clowns in their own zone that are hard to watch at times.
I miss 9269. That line had everything. Size, speed, hands, defense, effort. Someone get a mass of stem cells and inject it straight into Lady's knee. As someone who knows nothing of medicine, I'm sure that'll work.
