Think Boston will be much more interested in landing Barret Hayton and Karel Vejelmka from Utah for Swayman. Wouldn’t even be surprised if Lysell ends up going with Swayman if the Bruins can get themselves a young player like Hayton, in the deal.

Still no. It's just not a deal that helps the Bruins.

They have 3 left side D that they really like. They have 6 D appropriately slotted and are comfortable with their defense. If they added Girard they'd just have a $6m D in the press box instead of $8m Swayman at home.

The Bruins need a top6 C or RW for a deal to make sense.
