Really curious what the PP setup is going to look like with Necas. I’m thinking Drouin plays the Mikko spot on the wall. Necas and Mackinnon probably use their feet to keep swapping places from high to low on the other wall.

I hope Necas would play his strong side and have the shot and pass option available to him. Obviously no one time opportunity for him but he could feed Makar and Mack for one timers all day.

Lehhky looks more natural on the LW IMO.

Theoretically, the Drury line looks like a legit 3rd line now though. There should be some production there with Colton on that line too.

Yeah I'm liking what I see so far. He's obviously a strong skater and for that reason, I think it'll take MacK a bit of time to get used to. I think that once Nuke gets back, the play might be to drop Necas to the 2nd line and get Nuke back up with MacK.

I like the thought of:

JD-MacK-Nuke
Lehky-Mitts-Necas

Both lines with a distributor (JD and Mitts), both lines with a tenacious puck hound (Nuke and Lehky) and both lines with button hook experts (MacK and Necas).
