Anyone know why Arniel didn't challenge for offside on the Av's 2nd goal? Just watched on YouTube and the puck definitely didn't leave the zone after the offside. It would have been called back.

I've been curious about this too because I didn't remember seeing the puck leave the zone afterwards. Have you seen any footage that shows that the play was indeed offside?

I'm guessing the other angles that the video guys had maybe showed that the puck was still in the zone by a hair, either that or they blew it. Contrary to what the crew said the puck did not leave the zone and come back in before the goal

Please Understand
After 1 and 3? I liked 3 much more than the average person, so if it's close to that, I'm excited to play it. My buddy who works for EA sent it to me a month or so ago, but I had a bad CRI, so I haven't been able to play it.

Aye. The Veilguard feels a lot like Dragon Age 2 if Dragon Age 2 had more than 18 months of development time devoted to it.

Jesus Mary and Joseph!

Those Canadian Juniors offered NO counceling.

Cowan and Co Might go down as a loser TC

As for them tired Jets, well one unbroken stick and we likely still have at least a loser point.

2 out of 5 John Wick via Gun Store dude.

The neighbours made sure I stayed awake for the game. Holy crap are they into the booze early. Probably pass out before midnight from alcohol poisoning if they keep this up. Still disappointed I wasn't invited...:pout: Another decent game by Comrie, the Jets just couldn't help him out in the scoring department. I give this game three "Morks" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the Mighty F**ks has been posted for your guesses. The next seven games are available if anyone would like to create a GDT or two (or three for that matter). See you all next year! Good night...

Im a 2 drink kind of guy, ever since I hit forty it takes me 2 days to recover from heavy drinking. I do enjoy a bong and a blintz, a smoke and a pancake. Happy New Years friend and wishing all JetsHF a better 2025!

Didn't watch, but comments in here sorta make me think that what I thought should happen did happen

Interesting fact:

The 3 games we've played on the 2nd side of a back to back account for 8% of the games that the Jets have played but account for 27% of our losses.

Anyway, happy new year to everyone. Best wishes for 2025 for all y'all

Ran out of gas in the third but I thought the effort was there on a back to back. It is what it is.

I cannot overstate how much it pissed me off to have Sawyer yapping about how the puck left the zone on that 2nd Avalanche goal. I hate how confidently wrong he can be. Sometimes you just need to shut the hell up, dude.

Next.
I saw that they ran out of gas, yet still they played very well. If they continue like this, I will have full confidence in the team.

Hey guys.

Was there any reason that Helly got the easier game against the Preds instead of getting the harder game on the back end of the back-to-back?
It simply makes no sense to not have played Helly tonight and Comerie last night unless this was a scheduled loss thanks to the schedule maker. Fact is this Av's team has the Jets number whether the Jets are rested or not.

We shut them out the last time we played them so how is that them having our number?

First of all what a hit by Stanley:nod: that was Buffesk . I am also amazed at how perfectly clean Colorado plays, not one penalty all game.:sarcasm: This was going to be a tough game to win and the Jets played pretty good considering. Bring on 2025 the year of Jets is what i say, Happy new year everyone.

You haven't posted in a while, oh that's right we were winning games. We are still 1st in the NHL as of New year's day and 7-2-1 in our last 10. :thumbu:

The Jets also beat them every regular season game they played vs the Av's last year. Playoffs is a different animal . This game was a reminder of how dominant the Av's can be. I know it was b2b and Comrie in net but that is mere pufferey.

I have certainly posted but win or lose I am not convinced this team is playoff ready. I did post after the Leafs win and gave the jets credit for not mailing it in but in the last 10 games they are .500 vs playoff teams.

That's your right to feel that way but other than being 1st in the entire NHL i don't know how this team will be able to convince you they aren't as bad as you think they are.

So, woke up this morning to the Jets being in first place. Still. They've been in first after 28 of the 39 games they've played so far. It never gets old.

We've just won 4 out of our last 5. And we were tied with 10 minutes left in that loss. Which was on a B2B after a late flight. Forget the 5-2 score, this was a 3-2 game and we were in it almost to the end. (Don't know why coaches pull their goalie in a 4-2 game with 30 seconds left. Makes no sense to me.)

This team is incredible. We're going deep in the playoffs. Book it.

Ya, the Ducks are quite fast and hungry, not easy at all.

Probably no word on DeMelo until before next game. That was a decent effort against a really good team. We smoked them last year in the regular season, so...

Names wasn't taking faceoffs from what I could tell, maybe injured from that shot block last game. He really isn't a shooter but he absolutely couldn't shoot last night. Maybe put Lambert in for the time being.

Miller played a spirited game. Coghlan looked ok for a guy with almost no games.

I still like Heinola over Stanley from a puck moving perspective. I wonder what Chevy has in mind at the deadline
