My wife just asked when the Avs signed Lyle Lovett.
I think she's talking about Brock Nelson.

I will eat your ass.
Precisely why Bednar didn’t. Wish we’d let the guy serve his suspension. It’s literally not possible for him to be any worse than Wood and he could bring some intensity to the team on night like tonightI actually kind of liked him, super physical

How about lose 5 in a row and be close to missing the playoffs? Only 5 points up on both Minny and St Louis.Lose 10 in a row and then sweep Dallas?

I stand by that even injured it is not possible for him to be worse than WoodI was being sarcastic, though. He can’t play and is still hurt lol. Hasn’t played in months and months.
All depends on the ask. This year was a no brainer for what he signed for. But ultimately you need that guy in your lineup if he's gonna claim a permanent spot in the top-6. I just have very little confidence that his brittle body will survive any legitimate playoff run for very long.I doubt we're gonna find a guy that puts up a better PPG and plays a better 2 way game. He's an easy re-sign in my eyes. There's other guys that have fallen off that should go before JD. Like Wood and Colton. We can always get bigger at the TDL again if need be.
Vegas doesn't play Bednar's super specific style that takes certain kind of players to play it.Honestly thought Nelson would be better than this. You just never know who's gonna be a good fit, unless your Vegas and everyone you get just magically fits in.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off (the) shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.2-0 down after 40.
20 minutes away from our third straight loss.
3 goals scored in our last 8 periods of hockey.
Drouin injured. Girard injured somehow. Manson dead. Blackwood sick again or whatever the f*** is going on.
This is great!
This… this, my friends… is how Stanley Cups are won.

An elite shooter losing his shot is so on brand for this season's teamHonestly thought Nelson would be better than this. You just never know who's gonna be a good fit, unless your Vegas and everyone you get just magically fits in.
He's been a bit of a Band-Aid this year, but last year he played almost the entire season. And his injury before the playoffs was that weird cut against the Oilers. I don't think it's really fair to hold that one against him. The only red light in my eyes would be if he wants to miss time for mental health reasons again. All depends on the ask. I did mushrooms once too.I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off (the) shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
Just kidding. It's always darkest before the dawn my friends. All this bad ju-ju only means one thing... Gandalf Landeskog is about to come riding into Helm's Deep to save the day.
Bednar's warts have really been starting to stand out the last two years to me.Size. Speed. Hits everything that moves. Drops the gloves. Kills penalties.
Bednar f***ing hated him.
I'm pretty sure this team will never score again, literally they look like they have a hand grenade on their stick every time the puck touches it.
They've completely quit on this season, f***ing pathetic.
We shall see! I hope I'm wrong. The Halfax reunion has been one of the few bright spots over the last two yearsHe's been a bit of a Band-Aid this year, but last year he played almost the entire season. Skate fasterSo... any ideas what Bednar might be saying to the boys? Other than skate harder?
