Guys like him who never take a shift off and are completely selfless in how they play and sacrifice their body are easy dressing room favourites.

I’ve heard he’s also a big talker, engages everybody and is super intelligent.

I have done a complete 180 on him since he started the season.

I thought he was beyond useless, but I have come to appreciate how he plays the game. I think he would make a fantastic 4th liner. Playing above his capabilities for a while now.

What MacKinnon doesn't seem to understand is the more Makar shoots, the more open he becomes on the PP.

If the entire strategy is 29/96 back and forth, nobody gives a f*** about Cale. That hurts the PP.
