Fun fact: Hakuna matata, Simba, Mufasa, Rafiki all actually mean something.

Hakuna matata means no worries (surprise!)

Simba means a lion

Mufasa means a king

Rafiki means a friend.

There were more but those are the ones that I remember

When I see Rafiki, I can’t help but think of the old NHL player Brian Rafalski lol

That reminds me of a joke:

Nasa was training for the moon mission, they went to the southwest desert. The indigenous people nearby would gather and watch as the astronauts trained in their suits and whatnot. Eventually they got to know each other and became friends.

"When we get to the moon, what can we say in your honor, on your behalf?" they asked. They were told a phrase to say and memorize. It was broadcast the first few minutes.

Only much later came the actual translation:

"Don't trust these assholes. They're here to steal your land."
