I don't think that many people wanted a sequel to Avatar (at least not after so long), but, once it was out, they wanted to experience another technological showcase on the big screen. I went to it and even paid extra for the 3D showing, despite being lukewarm on the original and wishing that Cameron had done something other than make sequels to it. I didn't really care for the 2nd one, either, but still might go to see this 3rd one just for the experience.

Not a huge fan of the movies but the 2nd one was surprisingly still a fun watch in theaters. Haven't seen it since and probably won't again but I will probably check this one out in theaters as well just for the 3D theater experience.
