Even if he lets in a bunch (which is likely with the Avs), it'll still be exciting to pay attention to how he approaches the game. I remember Richter losing his first start as well as Hank, so I'm not too worried about it. Hopefully the D tighten things up and give the kid some help.

id love it if Kakko plays with his edge and grit. it would be nice to get a skilled power forward that goes to the net and scraps when needed to set the tone or get the crowd into the game

At this point of their age, Rantanen was still playing in Finland. In terms of draft age, Rantanen was in the AHL. I wouln't worry about Kakko.
