GDT: Avalanches @ Flames 7pm MT SNO, broken HFBoards edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

will HF survive the long cold night?

Avs just own the Saddledome. Ever since that playoff series where they smashed us in five games despite being the 8 seed. That one actually hurt worse than the one vs the Oilers to me.
Kinda had our fate sealed when we were playing .500 hockey after the ASB and the best Treliving could do was acquire Fantenberg despite leading the west.

That series made me think maybe that old core didn't have what it took to win a cup. The Oilers series made me realize that a rebuild was on the horizon

Wolf tracks the puck so well. Couple years more of learning NHL angles, shooter habits, etc. and he'll be a consistent Vezina candidate, damn he's good.
He won't be a finalist this year but he might already get a few Vezina votes thrown his way this season.

They never acquired an elite 200ft top line center. That was dead in the crib honestly without one. We've had a lot of almost #1 guys since the turn of the millennium but not a Cup contending one since Nieuwendyk imo.

Conroy surely has to know this right? For gods sake he was one of them 😩

Boston is rebuilding. I bet the Flames could get that Lindholm guy for cheap.

That's an elite goalscorers goal right there.
