We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

The fix for Drouin is to put him with MacKinnon.

Drouin - MacK - Nichushkin
Lekhonen - Nelson - Necas

I know they don’t want to break up the top line, but that line runs through MacK. It always has and it will continue to dominate even with the change.

Boring ass trap game. How can fans stomach watching that shit? It is so mundane.

I was literally laughing in OT, though. I've never seen a team have possession for basically the whole thing, and yet still be so horribly incompetent with the puck. They must have thrown the puck out of the Avs zone 4 or 5 times by mistake. It was comedy. You could hear the home fans groaning hahah. Also frustrating that we never really managed to get a foothold, but Minnesota did a good job keeping the puck away from us, unfortunately for them, they did an even better job of keeping the puck away from our net.

Kudos to Mild for keeping the D structure tight, we naturally lacked the extra juice needed to get to the dirty areas. Nice to at least get a point from a tired effort. Short memory on this one, nothing to see here, moving on.

They simply didn't have the legs. I swear on at least a handful of occasions an Avs player (LOC was one for sure but there were others) would have the puck on their stick and try to get something going, only for a backchecking forward in green would skate up from behind to take it away. Avs are usually NOT the team that allows that sort of thing, certainly not O'Connor.

That Big Sam pairing giving me a big sam
McGahey called it Sam's Club last night after the goal. I'll allow it.

didn’t Mitts look like he was going to be solid here for like the first 20-30 games and then his true colors showed? There’s no way he keeps up this pace over the long haul.
Well, it's two points in two games. While that is quite literally a PPG it's an extremely small sample size.

Honestly I think he'd actually do okay if he stays in his current role. I don't think he is a true 2C, he requires softer minutes and fewer minutes as 3C, that's where he put up the good numbers in Buffalo, and was unable to sustain as a 2C in Denver.

I mean does any doubt Mittelstadt would do fine in Boston where they don't play a much of a speed game as here?

It was even more hilarious how the Wild’s announcer kept praising Wild’s puck possession when they literally did nothing with the puck. They need a rule that doesn’t allow a team to go back after crossing the red line.

Dumbass Mild trapped most of the game, then didn't even try to win in OT. Seems like their strategy after they scored in the second was to trap the rest of the game, and then when it was tied, just to play for the SO, which seems like they may practice a lot. Kinda of a pathetic game plan.

I don't know if it should have been a penalty or anything, but what's the line on what a player can do to someone taking the SO? Fleury swipped at Necas over the boards with his blocker as he was skating by, and then Necas lost the puck a couple seconds later.

What's the limit on what a player can do and what's the actual penalty? Automatic goal? That's the only reasonable solution IMO. Game misconduct or penalty after the game is meaningless.

Not that it matters, the refs hate calling penalties and giving the Avs power plays so much now after Nate has barked at them recently, that the ref stood two feet away and watched Bogosian take a full swing and punch a much smaller Kelly in the side of the face, then let Bogosian bitch slap the ref afterwards and knock his helmet half off, and still wouldn't call anything.

Manson/Lindgren pairing > Malinski/Girard pairing yes or no?

I know Girard scored the tying goal but those two guys on the ice together to me look like a mess, Lindgren isn't as bad as advertised on the other hand.
