Should, yes, but don't underestimate the Avs ability to play to the level of their competition. They have been doing it for years under Bednar.Wild are missing like 400 key players. Even if Makar doesn’t play, we should be able to beat them
This is arguably a worse performance than against the Oilers.
They have 4 shots on goal halfway through the game against a Wild team missing Kaprizov, Brodin, Spurgeon, and Johansson.
Pathetic. Truly pathetic.
Nothing. That's how many they have through 28 minutes of play. What's wrong with the boxscore app that says the Avs only have 4 shots?
That 1st PP was an abomination once again.
It'd be one thing if this team was getting legitimate chances on the PP and not capitalizing. Then the fears would dissipate because they'd trend back up positively.
This team's top unit can't even get set up, when they do get set up every single player is standing still trying to pass through sticks and legs, MacKinnon legitimately stands on the left side of the ice and refuses to move unless he has the puck. It's embarrassing.
If I was Jared Bednar I would send a message to those guys. Next time the Avs get a PP, I would start Innala - Parssinen - Ivan up front.
He needs to be kicked in the nutsBednar says the PP is not an issue.
