No. Even if the Avs won I still be saying they looked like shit and Annunen stole them one. When Rantanen made a bad pass on the 2 on 1 I knew the hockey gods werent giving this to the Avs.

Rantanen can't make a play to save his life and MacKinnon's one timer sucks. The PP is so easy to defend now that the tip isn't there anymore with Nuke out.

And yet they keep trying it. The past few games they've had better movement, but that only because the Red Wings and the Canucks don't play a pressure PK. That unit is sucking on multiple levels, starting with Bennett on the coaching staff.

Practice isn't going to help lol. We've had shit PP strategy for years. Ray Bennett needs to be put out to pasture.

He really is terrible. His system is completely reliant on the skill of the players on the ice. And without Nuke to clean up the dirty areas, it's all fallen apart. Yet they still try the same shit over and over again.

Sad, but all true. If 29 doesn't flat carry we lose. And even when he plays well we still lose sometimes. Tonight he played well enough to have 2-3 points but only managed one and we lose.

He tied his own hands with that one. He thought he was a genius getting Nashville to retain, but instead gets a guy that has firmly played himself into the negative-value range despite the retention. Nobody is gonna take on that contract without an overpay.

Agree 100%. It's not like RyJo is going to magically be a big type player in the playoffs. He sucks. MacDermid is a better skater, as proven on multiple occasions tonight.

CMac just sucks, and is ok watching us f*** away our season because he is too lazy to figure out the problem.

It should be reiterated that the pro scouts deserve their fair share of criticism for giving the green light to that acquisition in the first place. RyJo was an obvious misfit back then and is even more so now. I have no f***ing clue what they were thinking.
