Only giving up 3 high danger chances at 5v5 against a top-10 scoring team like the Leafs is tremendous.

That's crazy considering it felt like all 4 of their goals came on high danger chances

Well, after all those games where he had to bail the Avs out I suppose Blackwood was due for a really bad period. 2nd wasn’t good either, but he stepped up for the third when the Avs were getting outshot something like 7-2 to start.

Nuke hat trick, nothing more needs to be said there.

I actually did NOT love MacKinnon and Necas tonight. Just sloppy and off-kilter for some reason. Even Ryker noticed. MacKinnon, despite getting a beauty of a GWPPG, was trying to force things for most of the night. Didn’t think they were bad per se, just weren’t stellar.

2nd line was fun as hell to watch. Created offense down low which is what you need for the playoffs. Third and fourth lines were good on the forecheck. I like winger Parker Kelly a lot more than center Parker Kelly.

I actually thought Bednar putting the Sams out there as a third pairing was a good move. Gave them a little more room to maneuver.

I liked Lindgren tonight. Not as bad as he was advertised to be coming in.

A lot of the new guys looked good. Love the size we have now with Coyle and Nelson for puck battles.

Makar wasn’t even on his game tonight and the team was on fire.

We like kirviranta Sometimes though we get frustrated when the third lije goes scoreless for a bit. Most people would prefer seeing him on the fourthlibe

I've liked his game so far. Feels very stable. Nothing fancy, but effective. Just a quiet minutes eater. Haven't had one of those in a while.
