I've really liked Malinski today. Maybe the TDL was weighing on him? He also just seems to play better paired with G for whatever reason.

He has definitely looked good tonight. If he can keep this up going forward he can be a good 5/6 for a few years.

Toronto is the perfect team for him to play against though. Very fast, skilled, smaller team that thinks all about offence. Very Malinski-like, I suggest his test will be against the tall trees of Vegas and Dallas.

You said that Marner is TML's best player, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't decline Marner for Rantanen though. I think Mikko is built for playoff hockey and would want to do that trade in seconds from that perspective. Marner's IQ is off the charts though.

Good. Lord. This team looks a thousand times different and EERILY similar to 2022. We'll see if it's just the post-TDL excitement or if this team is seriously ready to start throttling the league. This isn't a run of the mill club, this is the 2nd in the Atlantic Leafs.
