But...if he does actually need work, we could use his LTIR to get Landy back and hopefully find a suitable replacement for the remaining regular season. I'm assuming Toews would touch the hem of His garment the moment the regular season ended, like Stone.
One more game and the cavalry will arrive.
Definitely feels like the Top 6 minutes/pressure are getting to Ivan and Kovalenko a little lately. They haven't been effective the last couple of games.

Maybe? Its still on toews to not give the puck away and maybe Ivan should be attacking kopitar asap so Toews stay near the net?
Bednar hasn't use the G - Makar pairing the last two games. I think he should go back to it. Toews at "80 percent" looks like Holden out there.
No, that’s on Toews. Hockey 101, he needs to guard the net front area, even if it means Kopitar gets a point blank shot.

Feels like a common issue this year: when the goalie is not playing well enough the D aren't helping bail him out, and also when the D aren't playing well enough the goalie is not helping bail them out.
That first goal was on George, but had there been a d man clearing the front of the net they may have been able to clear the puck.
The second goal was on a miscommunication between Ivan and toews. I blame toews more than Ivan because it's his job and he didn't need to go to the other side of the ice. And George couldn't bail them out.

While getting healthy is a big add and need for this group there gonna have to look at a goalie sooner rather then later. It’s really made everyone play a little more tight and it’s really starting to show everything is like a grenade in our own zone now
Biz is smi-blaming Makar for not being in position behind the net for the Toews pass. I think Toews needs to be more aware.
I dunno if I’d do that given how slow and soft Manson looks in his own zone right now.

The Avs defense has just plain sucked for two years now. Doesn't help that the goalies are ass too.
