I sure hope so. Don't want to see Vesey on the 3rd line. JD2 would be fine there, but that'll just weaken the 4th line too much. LoC should've been the obvious choice once Kivi went down, but Bednar is so f***ing stubborn when he likes a line.

It’s not like there is arbitration rights or Avs extend a qualifying offer and he has to negotiate.

If the Avs penny pinch him, his agent will go elsewhere and all teams could see he was on pace for 20 goals.
