It all falls on George he shit the bed early and never gave a tired team a chance.

Again though, it’s weird to blame this specific game on 1 guy. It was a 3-2 game after the 1st. He allowed no goals for the last 2 periods. We’re not playing the 2000 devils here. It was the blackhawks. And we couldn’t muster any more offense.
They were tired. Doesn’t excuse George from a not good game. Doesn’t excuse the team for poor play.

Problem tonight is 5giev played "well" enough for the Avs not get rid of him. They wont blame this game on him so hes going to survive another day when really those 3 goals are awful

I think the Avs should get rid of Georgiev but if we're being honest, the goals he gave up vs Chicago weren't "awful". The Reichel goal may look awful and probably wasn't unstoppable but it was a double deflection off players from both teams. I'm not sure you can really fault a goalie for that.

Fourgiev was the second best goalie in every single game he started this season and that's a fact.

Yep and our team is a AHL caliber team and we can't win when the goalie puts us in a hole.

George sucks and the team won't win games with him in net, period. He's completely washed and needs to go to Russia.

We seem to be discussing different things. I want George gone too. There’s too much megative around him. He doesn’t today wel, players don’t believe in him.
He should be fired off into the sun.

He was not good this game. He hasn’t been good all season. He hasn’t deserved any more starts. Im not sure why people don’t want to accept that the players kinda sucked too this game. It doesn’t absolve George from playing like ass.

Sadly, between Colton going out again and lehky back in, feels like we’re not getting more bodies back.

Maybe it was cause the Avs played last night, but Hawks were skating circles around the Avs for the first 10 mins, PP goal slapper from the circle and then a bad bounce off a player, you can't solely pin those 2 goals on Georgiev. Third goal, ya, he could've had better rebound control. Fact of the matter is the Avs were out worked by a less skillful team, lost like all the puck battles, and the PP dried up (1/4). This team as a whole deserved to lose this game, coaching included.

Well, yeah, nobody is saying the Avs deserved to win.

However, this could have and likely should have been a game that went to overtime. Yet once again Georgiev has to allow at minimum one horrid goal against that the team can't overcome.

It's never his fault but he's 1-4 and Annunen is 4-1. You're telling me the team just hates him and play bad whenever he's in net?

The team was bad, but George the only rested player was one of the worst.

When you are on a back to back the goalie that didn't play the night before needs to be the best player on the ice. George was bottom 3, absolutely inexcusable.
