Just a minor correction, probably more a pet peeve of mine as a coach.

Colton plays the LW and Kiviranta plays the RW on that 3rd line.

Note Kivi’s goal against Toronto with Colton receiving the pass on the left wing and playing it cross to Kivi for the one-timer.

Sorry, feel free to ignore me! :D
😂. You must file all complaints to the NHL website. Since that's where I copy and paste the info from.

It's gonna be a little crazy to see Girard and EJ together again. Hope EJ has a mini resurgence like JJ had when he came here. I don't expect a lot but hopefully the adrenaline can propel him for the rest of this year into something serviceable.

My childhood was either the freakin' best, or absolute worst. I'm cool with what it was either way. :sarcasm:

Answering the poll…

Mario Lemieux is the most gifted, talented, and dominant player I’ve ever watched play the sport of hockey.

Whether that means he’s the best, I don’t know. Wayne did incredible things and changed the way the entire game was played.

I just know Super Mario is the greatest player on skates I’ve ever seen.

He seemed energized AF in his interview and hasn't played a lot so he should be fresh. Fingers crossed.

LOC scratched? Crazy

This was expected. We have very deep team now so many players who don't even deserve to be benched will be sometimes. I think it's great position to be in, because injuries will always happen.

Malinski for example deserved to play today.

Wild game is much more important. So good for LOC and Malinski to play that one. Imo.

As a guy that didn't start watching until the 90s, Lemiex was the best I've ever seen as well. Forsberg is actually second... but Forsber falls behind for so many for the same reason Mario does here. His health. Also, Gretzky came into the league, what 5 or 6 years earlier, so he had that many more seasons playing fat, out of shape dmen and stand up goalies. Tyler Arnasson would have feated on the league and Tyson Jost have been a perennial all-star in 1979-1985.

No McDavid in that poll? :sarcasm:

The poll is adjusting for era, I take it?

Chicago ranked 7th on the power play ahead of the Avs?

All I know is Alex Tanguay has the Red Wings with the second best power play in the NHL.

I’ve heard interviews that say he is a genius coaching the PP. Tons of different looks and very hard for the opposition to scout against.

He was a huge missed opportunity for us to fire Bennett and hire him this past summer.

It's why that had no intrest in Mikko being part of a Seth Jones deal that would have also brought Crosby to the Avs. They had done their due diligence on Ivan and everything was ready until the son of Dollar Bill got cold feet on Mikko.

Or at least that's the story I just made up for myself.
