Nah, because Mansons wasn't just that play. Him turning the puck over also then happened in the middle of a change. So we had two different lines of forwards on and Girard was at the tail end of his shift at that point but couldn't change because of the turnover.


There's no excuse for anything other than either an icing from the Canes or a really Grade A chance for the Avs after they had all 5 guys on the ice for 2.5 minutes.

Brother I'm not saying that Manson didn't f*** up but one of these guys made an error 150 feet from our net and the other 25-30 feet away from our net. We can call butterfly effect on any action at any time and claim it precipitates a future play. One of those mistakes quite clearly had a much bigger impact on that goal being scored.
