McDavid should have been in front of that PP shot, BUT the whole concept of having your franchise 12.5 M dollar player on the PK blocking shots and risking injury is Pejorative Slured. Another dumb idea by the coaching staff.

I don’t see it. It’s really not a good system. It always leaves two guys open at the point for a shot. The 2 guys in the middle are supposed to clear out rebounds etc but it doesn’t work if our goalies can’t stop the puck or don’t have good rebound control. If I was a goalie I would tell Todd to change it up. It’s a damn firing gallery.

In the Eakins days I used to enjoy watching the good individual efforts. . I honestly thought we were better than that. This season has sucked in so many ways for so many reasons.

Except they were good last year and have been murdered this year BECAUSE of the special teams. Its not even a question the biggest drag on this teams performance this year is special teams they've been fine 5 on 5 for the majority of the year. Pretty sure its the coaches job to teach players how to pk especially if game in game out they suck at it.
