Was imo cheated out of that disallowed goal, as that was never an interference on a goalie by Drouin. Sure, he had one leg in the goal crease, but was not impending goalie´s movement or somehow pushing him. I am pretty sure i have seen similar goals against us stand. Its fecking BS.
Yeah, I think the thing there, was that Drouin walked his own ass into the blue, he wasn't forced in. Some minor contact perhaps, but since he voluntarily went there....

Thoughts:

- Good to hear the ref is alright
- No that was not goalie interference, go away
- Malinski is garbage and you will not convince me otherwise
- I assume Girard got some of Nuke's stash and that's why he's dumping guys a foot taller than him to the ice, more please
- I didn't realise EJ was married, I just assumed him and Landeskog were a thing. Nice dogs though
- Actually a big fan of the Flyers coaches in hoodies
- Good thing Makar is playing the way he is because MacKinnon's in a bit of a slump

Weird game. That Flyers jersey really is terrible as well.
I thought Malinski was pretty good last night.

His defense partner stinks though.

Kylington looked okay to me most of the time. Malinski looked dangerous and he had a great sweeping stick check on a breakaway, reminded me of G. Team is slowly starting to look like itself. I don't know if Kylington will turn out as a regular, but you can definitely see the flashes of the kind of player he can be and why we wanted him. I just don't think he's comfortable at all yet.

Kylington was very hesitant and not up to speed. Physically looks fine so i do think he just need more games.

I'm a bit lost on that call as well. I've not read the whole thread, so forgive me if this was discussed.

Consistency is all I ask of NHL officials. By the letter of the law, Drouin interfered because he did not give the entirety of the crease to the goalie. That said, I have seen - this year alone - 4 reviews where that was not called Goaltender Interference. One was an Avs game, I think.

Frankly, I would prefer it to be called as it was on Drouin; Nobody ever goes in the blue ice at all, ever. It is a simple review. But the NHL is not enforcing that mandate consistently. So what was the issue last night? Was it the fact that both feet were in? The fact that the goalie pushed forward, initiating contact while Drouin was in the blue? Or did the officials decide that today was the day they would opt to follow the rule book for the first time all season?
Exactly 100 percent.

…unless the puck is in there, not in control of the goaltender. Then players can go get it.

I actually had no problem with the call on Drouin.
