I think Manson is the #5 now.

Girard doesn't have the acceleration/speed to do what Malinski does.

And our defense is what it is it's too flawed and will likely get run over in the playoffs again by a big/fast/good transition team.

Trying to jump start your teammates isn't a horrible approach to take, but I'd rather he do it in a game where we already have a lead.

There's a difference between trying to get teammates involved and straight up passing on 3 wide open looks in a 0-0 game. Can't be making that bad of a decision 3 different times in 1 period.

Malinski's ability to get shots past the first wave is a tremendous skill. One of my favourite traits about his game.
