How important are faceoffs? With 1 being not important at all and 5 being the most important?

I'm at the point where I think it's dumb to be emotionally invested until Wolfgang Bednars is relieved of his duties, but we at least deserve a good broadcast to watch. Stop telling me Alexandar Georgiev is as talented as any goalie in the NHL and that there isn't much the Avs can do when a non-playoff team clogs up the neutral zone.

Last 3 losses they've scored 2 goals combined.

Blackwood doing what he needs to do. This team can't win if 29/8/88/62/7 don't produce.
Poorly constructed team even if Nuke is back. There are just to many guys on this roster that dont do anything. If you aint scoring you better be doing something else and guys like LOC, Colton, Mittlejost, Wood, Parsinnen all do nothing ever. LOC, Wood and Colton are supposed to be energy guys. They aint doing any of that and they aint scoring.

Sigh.

This team is ass.
Which sucks because they have some elite to good cornerstone pieces in Mackinnon, Necas, Makar, Toews, Lehkonen and Blackwood. Its just a massive massive drop off after those guys and CMac is the one to blame for that.

Necas these two games looks like a dude who partied his ass off for two weeks.

He looked so bad this weekend.

Lehkonen looked tired. Ditto MacKinnon.
He actually looked like the guy I seen the past 3 seasons in the playoffs and at times in the regular season for Carolina.

Wonder if management has figured out that adding terrible players to the team is not a good strategy.
Some people for some reason expect a guy like Parssinen to be an impact player. There is a reason why they only gave up an AHLer for Parssinen. That means he’s just not that good. Or a guy like Kiviranta who was a professional try out, who actually has been decent for what he is.

I’m not really worried about those guys. I’m worried about how we gonna replace Mitts, Colton, Wood who supposed to play a bigger role on the team and they’re not doing it

This is kind of humorous. Who has the best clips of Rycroft going full clown status? I'll submit them with this support ticket.

Before Avs game I watch the clip of Averman telling Bombay in the original Mighty Ducks saying "Just so you know we really suck"

I can't wait to be rid of this bum in the Summer.

I have a feeling he's the first to go and it's on July 1st. Gotta think CMac is itching to punt this guy away.

I know Mitts is driving everyone crazy, not scoring, but Colton from day one as the three C, and outside of his hot stretch has just never been worth that contract.

Complete fkn miss by CMac and the pro scouting on that one.

All we need to do is replace the following players with better players and we’ll be good…

Mitts
Wood
Colton
de Haan
Middleton
Kylington
Malinski

We got this!!!!

I actually didn't mind Kylington tonight, or Malinski, but those three should be 6-8.

Malinski was doing the dirty work on the boards and disrupting the cycle. Which isn't his strength.

I've got to give him some credit.

It's not only that they need the top 4 guys on the team to produce, they need the top 4 guys to do literally everything.

For some time, I thought the main problem was that they aren't/weren't getting production out of 2C. But that's not really it. They have the same problem at 2C, that they have at 2RW, 3C, 3RW, 3LW, 4C, 4LW, 4RW, 2LD, 2RD, 3LD, 3RD.

Most of the team has forgotten how to play hockey, particularly offensive hockey. So many players are currently so much worse than they were a year or two years ago and/or than they were on their last team.

They're broken. The system has failed.
