GDT: Avalanche @ Blues 2/23/25 4:00PM MNT (Emergency GDT) Still feeling Blue about yesterday.

How important are faceoffs? With 1 being not important at all and 5 being the most important?

I’ll say it again, the biggest issue with this team right now is lack of 2C production. If we had a good 2C, it would mean a good 2nd line, more ice time for other lines and less for top guys. Right now we only have one line which can provide offense and I’m not blaming Bednar for playing them too much. We need to score

Truth. When you say they need a new voice people just go straight to you thinking Bednar sucks because why would you fire a good coach. You listed the reasons above. Every coach in this league has an expiration date. Jared might be past that if not approaching it. He will be fine. Someone will hire him right away.

The 2nd line over the last two games has an xGF% of ~25ish%. I’d love to see the explanation why those guys should get more playing time.

Exactly…

Can’t give ice time to players who just gonna go out there, do nothing and waste time. In a way I think Bednar is also sending a message to CMac. Hey we need some help. Go get players who can do something
