Not having Trenin hurts because MacKinnon was already playing a ton and in the 3rd he's 100% going to pace himself and play with no intensity.

Bednar wasn't kidding. The time on ice for the top guys puts a 12 year old stat padding on NHL 24 to shame.

So you're assuming Dallas scores the next goal?
I don't see the Avs coming back and winning 3 in a row including a game 7. Not with MacK and Bednar running the show.

When Dallas has had pressure, it's been a long, sustained pressure in our zone and usually results in a chance or a penalty BUT that zone time has also been limited.
Avs, even excluding the PP, have generated more chances and high danger chances.

They can suck a double decker d*** sandwich. The PPs in this game are 2-2. The f*** do they have to complain about? Mikko cross-checking Tanev? Great, Tanev should have gotten 4 so we still would have been on a PP.
MacK showed a burst of speed on a loose puck and got a great shot on Oettinger. The puck turned over and then his should have switched to the forecheck.
He stopped skating and pretty much watched.
Pouting aside, we KNOW he's a competitor. So that example tells me he's hurt and not willing to sacrifice his body for any defensive play or contact.

Knowing how this series has gone, the Avs will score the next goal and finally take a lead only for Dallas to respond like 15 seconds later.
Mackinnon or Rantanen are due for a last minute goal to get the Avs the win Makar answered let's go Avs.
A MacK shift where he's stuck in the zone for 55 seconds.
Better. But not flawless. Which is what they need to be to win this.

Or the Avs will take the lead, hold it with like 4 seconds left and Dallas will score when a player fans a clearing attempt and the puck lands on a Stars player's stick right in front of Georgiev
