He's clearly been doing his part when the others havent.

Also, I think Sundsvik is far better than Soderblom in front the crease in PP. Yes, it is hard for d-men to move around Soderblom, but Sundsvik is far more actively screening the keeper.

That said, Gunler is the best forward of the game.

Really? Gunler scored 2 goals...but best in the game? He was quiet aside from those wicked wristers.

Holtz and Raymond were buzzing all game, dominating possession. Soderstrom is making a case for best defense in the tournament.

And Soderblom was great at screening the goalie. How was Sundsvik better? He’s looked mostly out of place on that top line. I’m dreading seeing him against Canada, Russia and USA.

Hell no. Soderblom was great at standing statically in front of the crease, and of course him standing there is a threat. But he sucked at moving into the line of different shooters. He didnt show much mobililty in front of the crease. Too passive. Definately a coachable issue though.

Sundsvik out of place? Him with great puck control in lots of traffic, leading up to Raymonds goal

Great puck control in lots of traffic again, feeding Holtz with backhand pass. But Holtz misses the open net.

Both plays from 3rd period, so your excused if blame the beer effect. Keep in mind Sundsvik hasnt centered these creative wingers before the game against Czechia. Those centers who did got virused-out.

Sweden now has 52 straight wins in round Robin? (burning all energy here, only to then fall flat when it matters AGAIN)

Just watched a summary, get the feeling Sweden played well but a lot of sloppy shots or whiffs in clear scoring chances kept numbers down together with a hot Austrian goalie.

I was impressed by Wraneschitz's performance. With some average goalie, Austria would surely lose like 0-10, maybe even more. Wraneschitz was stellar and I have no doubt his performance has made some noise among scouts and managers.
