still a very very very long time. prob a very high percentage of HF Members weren't even born yet. there's nothing really to brag about after this long. if you wanna take pride in being the least pathetic of the Canadian teams then sure that's fine

By the way he posts, Paul wasn't born yet either.

who said anything about pride?

But if you want keep babbling on about leafs not winning anything since the days of black and white TV 🤣 as "equally pathetic" to teams that have won mutiple stanley Cups in same time span. Have at'r buddy. 🤣

Im just saying its been so long there's not much to brag about. its so long it's pretty pathetic.

haha we won the cup 32 years ago. lol congrats buddy

nobody said that.....but Leaf fan talking cup or Bust is hilarious.

2021 game 7. Scotia Bank.
lol whatever, Ill give u guys respect for that win, it was damn impressive and added to the long sad history of the leafs but doesnt mean what Im talking about is wrong. after that much time its not a good argument. its not impressive Habs won 32 years ago anymore. its almost ancient history

Nobody said it was impressive.
What some did say is it equal to all the other canadian teams.
Don't know what math they are doing
Habs 32 years
Flames 36 years
Oilers 40 years
Leafs 67 years
Sens Jets Canucks never.

Equal? ....nope. Rangindmg from "pathetic" to absolutely down right unbelievable.
more like it.

Matthews haters. Everyone would love him on their team knowing he is clutch to give your team an "L" when it matters the most. Plus if you flip the 0-7 he would be 7-0. Think about that for a second.

personally fans bragging about Stanley cup wins is stupid IMO.

Its not the fans accomplishment. Just be happy, but to try and hold it over the heads of another fanbase or try to put down a fanbase over it is just stupid.

But at least we have a winning history with enough cups and glory to make up for it. The Leafs have had barely anything....only 11 cups? 13? OG6 team?? Your best players of all time would be 4th liners on a Habs all timer roster. The hall of fame is a shrine to Montreal. And even in modern times, when your team is laden with "supestars" in their primes ready to win, the rebuilding and tanking Habs beat them in the playoffs...the only time they've met in the post season in forever. Imagine what a Prime Habs team will be doing to your Leafs when the roles are reversed soon. Hell we've made it to two conference finals and a cup final without really even having a top tier roster in the past 14 seasons. Leafs would love to even have that success.

Sorry leafs fans, I know it hurts.

winning a cup in general gives u bragging rights sure but how is not winning in over 30+ years or longer or never not pathetic?
You don't see the difference between 30 years and 57 years?

we are all basically on even ground now. I wonder what percentage of HFBoard members weren't even born the last time a Canadian team won.
I might be an exception. The Canadiens have won 18 Cups in my lifetime... :D

well I dont know what to tell you, most of Leafs losses have been against teams that have gone to the cup final, most have been low scoring series. not sure how your suppose to rack up the points in low scoring series.
Ah ! The good old chicken or egg dilemna...

Matthews scored less because they were low-scoring series or they were low-scoring series because Matthews (and others) scored less ? :skeptic:

Agree completely, but if the Leafs ever win one I am flipping my position so fast I solve unlimited energy.

what do you mean only 13? the 2nd most in NHL history. you can argue all you want about it being from the original 6 but if MTL for example say they have 24 then those Original 6 wins counted as well. so get outta here with that.

its funny because your trying so hard to "get me" but I already brought that up and was a great win, leafs deserve shit over that. I dunno why you have to apologize to me I dont really care overall. in the end its just entertainment lol

is it so hard to put spaces in your long ass comment lol

there's a difference sure but after this long there's not much to brag, Im sorry but we won 32 years ago doesnt have the ring anymore like you think it would.

great good for you, what is this a competition? I dont really care. Bravo wow I dunno how I'll sleep at night

For NHL and international, Auston Matthews has now lost all 7 matches he's played in where it's a do or die situation for both teams

2018 playoffs vs Boston (game 7)
2019 playoffs vs Boston (game 7)
2020 playoffs vs Columbus (game 5)
2021 playoffs vs Montreal (game 7)
2022 playoffs vs Tampa (game 7)
2024 playoffs vs Boston (game 7)
2025 four nations vs Canada (gold medal match)

He hasn't scored a goal in any of these 7 games either....it's becoming painfully obvious that Papi is the Harry Kane of the NHL
Papi? There is only one Papi in sports.

well they have been and only playing 7 games per year doesnt really rack up all that many points. there have been alot of very tight leafs playoff games, sure Matthews could have been better. not many weak goals have gone in

No Cup for 32 years. A great Canadian country singer with the song title to match.
can argue there is no good country music
