The lack of transparency simply invites speculation. When you aren’t forthcoming with details people can’t weigh the severity of these issues against more conventional hockey injuries.
They said Matthews was sick and Nylander had migraines, and both were kept out by the team medical staff.

How much more do we need? Quantity of vomit per 60? Intensity of throbbing (Richter scale)?

Well like I said earlier those aren’t typical hockey “injuries” so without any additional details after the season concluded it’s an information vacuum anyone can project anything into and speculate.

The issue is not the fans. It's not the media. It's not the EVIL market. You People will blame everyone except for your God Kings.

We judge them based on the standard that is set by the league. We judge their contracts based on the same thing. It's not our fault that the standard for professionalism for this organization is non-existent. The biggest choke in franchise history in the most storied rivalry in the league, and nothing changes except the "leaders" on this team asking for no more dress code.

They were ready to go for 82 and then suddenly disappeared. With little to no explanation. When asked they get defensive. Of course people question their heart. This started long before they decided to quit and not dress for the games, we've all seen them quit on the ice too. For years. It's like You People don't even know what the Stanley Cup is all about and why it's so coveted in this country.

There's no medical professional on the planet that could stop the true great players from competing for the Cup. But we're not allowed to even ask questions to guys that get paid more than all of their peers in a limited dollar system. God forbid that we want to enjoy something for once in our lives after dedicating all of this time, money, and attention to the team.

New Beiber jersey is in the mail.
Is it not the fans, here for example, speculating on the injuries?

Them being not typical hockey injuries, maybe the team is less conversant, leading to their being less communicative. Since the usual is 'upper body/lower body', 'sick' doesn't seem to be much more vague.

It doesn't really matter anyway - if you specify 'high ankle sprain' you still get all kinds of bizarre speculation about severity, cause, healing process, and even how long you can use it as an excuse.

It all seems pretty pointless.

I didn't think he got 70, there was a goal that was Berts that Matthews got credit for. But the "character guy" he was/is just stayed silent instead of giving Bert the credit.

He scored the game winner in Game 2.

But other than that, didn’t deliver again when we needed him to do what he does better than anyone in the league.

Edit: nvm, misunderstood your post. Long day already

Seems fair, after all Bert went offside fairly easily on a Mathews goal that had to be called back. lol!
