Somehow he was on the ice for 3 goals against Matthews line or he would have been.Barkov is one of the bigget ice-tilter's out there, shocking he doesn't even make the list.

If he has had problems with his back for a long time as JTAMDAREALDEAL says he does...he is a moron for signing short term deals.Check your dm
Coming back to the discussion in hand. Stem cell doesn't work for everyone
Also Matthews got his done around 6-8 months ago.
Any other player would get benefit of the doubt. Reality is even when he was healthy he wasn't producing much
He is injured this year for sure, but your point about production every other year is true.Seems to be injured an awful lot though eh? Seems to be almost every playoff don't ya feel? Where he magically drops from a 69 goal scorer to being tied with Domi for goals? Seems weird...
Yes, I'm sure once the seasons over Berube will announce Matthews played through a broken nose, toe, leg, fibula, tongue and his dog got kicked out of his little doggy hotel. So we will feel some sort of relief.
I think the hard truth is that Matthews is not a big game player. Honestly. He was invisible during the 4 nations being Captain of the USA. Where as Marner found another gear and finished with 100+ points and honestly has looked great in the playoffs.
Matthews Seems to be the rare superstar that peaks in the regular season and doesn't have another gear in the playoffs when every inch needs to be battled for, he shys away from every extracurriculars.
I think he might even be an anxious dude. He might have to deal with what's between the ears before he can succeed. The post season you need to battle for every inch and not shy away from conflict, Matthews has shied away from conflict or confrontation of any type his entire career.
Actually not the stupiest thing you have said, and as a fellow baseball guy 100% correctHe’s a showcase player. He’s never played for championship. He’s never really been on a team. He has practised his entire life so it’s really not that unreasonable that he’s not a guy that stepped up in the playoffs
I said all that it’s still quite likely he is injured
Did your Insurance cover any of it?I did it 2x...first time in 2020 and I got 9 shots for about 14K USD and then screwed my back up again 2 years ago and had 3 shots for about $6K USD. If you want the clinic I went to and more info...just DM me and I would be happy to give you the info.
Not many if you're over 25yrs old. I know a lot about the whole stem cells and you gradually make less and less of them...that's why babies are so soft and "new"....a baby's will double a stem cell every 24hrs....a teenager in 36hrs and a 60yr old in 72hrs....it means the difference of about 1 Billion cells for a baby in 30 days and less than 2 thousand for an old fart.
look up kneesovertoesguyHow much did it cost you?
I wanted it for my knee, but 30 grand
Matthews sucks ass. Glad he signed a short term deal. What a pathetic loser. You lose the injury excuse when you suck year after year
i just don't like the guy, never have. What is there to like?
Auston Matthews makes the most money in the NHL, trails Philip Broberg in the scoring race deep into October, the team looks rudderless this week vs CBJ and St. Louis after they won their Stanley Cup vs Tampa on Monday and was the worst player on the ice in the Blues game I'm sure we were all hoping they'd come out and win for the new coach.
This is coming off his highly disappointing and injury plagued series vs Boston with the state secret protected injury.
It's off to a terrible start.
I found it strange that the first thing he spoke about after his team eliminated Ottawa was bitching about the haters/doubters. It's unbelievable that as the captain of the team that's of more interest to him than to just focus on the team as a whole. He could have started with how they worked hard, proud of the team, excited for the next one, instead of drawing attention to the outside noise right away. Maybe some will say I'm reading too much into it but I think it speaks to his maturity level and how he sees things.i just don't like the guy, never have.
his media interviews are just brutal, like he doesn't give a f* about anything. Just simple teenage-level talk, it's unbelievable. Almost seems like he's running at an 18-year old's mentality sometimes. He honestly talks like a teenage kid, and he's is supposed to be the captain of a professional original 6 NHL team? lol
Leafs could get a lot in a trade for the guy.
Ship him out and let some other team deal with him
No. I had to pay out of pocket because the Ontario Health Insurance wouldn't cover it.Did your Insurance cover any of it?
Compare that to Willy.I found it strange that the first thing he spoke about after his team eliminated Ottawa was bitching about the haters/doubters. Thanks, I thought maybe you lived in the US.No. I had to pay out of pocket because the Ontario Health Insurance wouldn't cover it.
Got a frat boy for a captain. But can't blame Matthews, he didn't nominate himself for that role...I found it strange that the first thing he spoke about after his team eliminated Ottawa was bitching about the haters/doubters. I can pass on the info on where I went if you wish to DM me. I can vouch for them and I think you will be pleased with the results. Thanks, I thought maybe you lived in the US.
I have a meeting with some providers, insurance companies, other stakeholders on the 22nd and I’m going to get more details about this therapy.
Matthews sucks ass. Glad he signed a short term deal. What a pathetic loser. You lose the injury excuse when you suck year after year
I swear I'm on cloud 9.The excuses for Matthew$ really are something. Score some goals you bum. If you don't have the rocket shot then you'll have to suck it up and go to the dirty areas for tips and rebounds. You're the captain now. Get it done.
well I hope he's wondering that in a non Leafs jersey. Though I really doubt it. Leafs have been the epitome of often "buy high sell low" because they lack the cojones to make a pr unfriendly move. It's not even personal, because of his injury troubles it's unlikely his play will improve after his contract, and the Leafs will be paying for his play before his contract if they sign him = overpaymentI do wonder if a couple from years now he’s going to have wished he signed an 8 year deal.
