Attending Bulls-Wizards and Hawks-Oilers games this weekend

I’m going to be in town over weekend, taking in the Bulls-Wizard and Blackhawks-Oilers games and I’m looking for a little help, suggestions

Staying at the Hyatt Loop on Franklin…what would be the smartest way to get to and from United Center?

I’ve taken the United Express bud before(2010) and the train to University stop…Uber is cheap and direct but up for other suggestions?

I was thinking of doing the Billy Goat Tavern before the games…is that still a cool hang out? Other bar suggestions near the Hyatt?

Uber is the way. You can go to a nearby bar or direct to the stadium they have a great uber lot out front now.

I always go to Ranallis West loop before the game. They have a shuttle that takes you right to the UC and runs every 15 minutes. Great atmosphere before hawks games. Crossroads has the same thing.

As for Bars near your hotel i would say Randolph Tavern Monks or Stocks and Blonds. These are loop bars tho. I would may stay on Randolph and hit the west loop area and go Federales, Bandit, Lone Wolf, Haymarket, or Good Night John Boy depending on what you are looking for.
