When the same thing happened to Washington and everyone believing they xouldn't win anything in playoff, that's the year they finally won everything...

I've always said that the Leafs will finally go on a long playoff run only after everyone gave up on them and the pressure was kind of lessened. I am not sure if Berube is instilling confidence in them to win so many 1 goal games...but I really think playing playoff style hockey all season instead of trying to flip a switch like they always tried to do will make a difference. Now, we just need the big guns to not disappear because the 3rd line is probably the worst we have had in a long time, and they won't be much help.

So by 9 PM tonight, we could know if we are set and confirmed to play Ottawa in the first round with a Leafs win (ideally in regulation) and a Bolts loss (in regulation or OT/SO).

I hope the Leafs can get the Sens in the playoffs. I've missed the Battle Of Ontario so much. Can't believe its been 21 years since the last time we've played them in the playoffs. Don't know if it will be as heated as it was back then, but it would still be great to add a new chapter to this rivalry that was so amazing to watch back then. Don't even know if the Leafs can beat them, but I still want to watch it. Make it happen!
