They have to win one of these games this weekend. I’d love to embarrass Montreal and their delusional fans like last time.
Personally, I think Edmonton is going to be done in by Jeff Skinner. He's insanely inconsistent, and it only takes a few bad performances to put you behind the 8-ball, as we well know.
Sorry, I've rubbed my eyes but it still looks to me like the Leafs are winning the Atlantic divsion. I hate being right. For the most part, this is completely true. There are some exceptions though, for example I recommend paying close attention to any predictions made by @Evilhomer.
Tampa is gonna spank Florida imo if that’s the matchup.

Well you haven't been right all that often so I think you'll be able to handle it. All kidding aside, things are looking good but nothing's settled yet so let's hope we win the next one. GLG!!Sorry, I've rubbed my eyes but it still looks to me like the Leafs are winning the Atlantic divsion. I hate being right.
4 point lead on the sens. Unless they play each other very unlikely they finish 4thRealistically Florida is out of the running for passing us. What is up in the air, is whether they finish 4th, 3rd or 2nd in the division.
With four games left, making up even three points isn't that easy.... though you can't count on anything.

Boston blew a 3 point lead with 2 games left for the division last year.
The most pathetic part was that if there was a Boston squad that Toronto could've and should've beaten, it was that one. But somehow the universe aligned for everything to go wrong - Matthews getting a viral illness, Mitch playing on a bum ankle coming off a late season high ankle sprain, Nylander getting migraines, and Woll not seeing the net until game freaking 5 when the Leafs were already down 3-1. And then of course after Woll seems to be the answer to Swayboy, he gets hurt on a nothing play at the end of game 6. Truly cursed. A fully healthy Leafs lineup with Woll in net should've buried that roster. That was agonizing to watch. They just shit the bed at the end to have one more go at us.
You're right, I meant Stuart.I think you mean Stuart Skinner.
Going back to date of the start topic they got 11 points in last 7 games. 0.79%. Not bad.I would be truly surprised if this group was capable of going on a focused sprint with a real goal in mind and win the division. Baking in 1 trap game a week, knowing they can't button down their own business, I'm envisioning a 6-5 finish.
Yall are brave eh??? You don't even consider the magic French pixie dust that falls from the heavens onto the bell centre ice, from all if the floating ghosts of former storied habitants giants..?!?Lol MTL is not a bad matchup. I know people have PTSD from 2021, but there is no Carey Price in net. Price is an all time great and probably the best goalie of the modern generation. Habs have had a good season but they've overachieved big time.

Easy is never going to be the right word, but both teams are an absolutely fabulous match-up for the Leafs (compared to Florida, Tampa, etc.).I can’t say Montreal is a favourable matchup over Ottawa. Honestly both won’t be easy. There’s no pressure on either team to win.
It's still the same team and the Florida was pretty damn ugly as well. Luckily they managed to squeak by TB last night and most people seem to have forgotten all about the ugliness the night before, not me though. The good, the bad and the ugly, we've seen it all this season and let's be honest, we're likely to see it all again in the playoffs. They’ve won a lot more games than I thought. Give them credit for not being the team that lost to San Jose for sure. Things were looking pretty ugly.
