Gotta figure the Mets will sign a starter. The Orioles will be in the market for a starter if they lose out on Burnes. The Phillies are apparently interested in Crochet.

Multiple teams are going to be disappointed this winter.

I'm not worried that they're too cheap. I'm worried about the possibility that players simply don't want to come here. That's something that should really terrify us.

It was always said Snell preferred the west coast

I’m not too worried about people wanting to come here, if the money is there people will come. It’s not like this org is at a dead end, the general consensus is that it has one of the brightest futures in baseball

If they sign Soto then trade for Crochet I can live with that! (2% chance)

If they sign Fried they need to have an elite infield defense between him/Bello/Houck. That means Devers to DH and probably a guy like Adames or Arenado in to play 3B
