Boone made a hot mess out of a lot of this series, but he really ruined Luke Weaver this postseason by overuse and overexposure. Kid was so broken that he balked by the rarely seen stepping off three times rule.

Gonna be an interesting off season in NY.

Cole didn't blow anything. Come on.....Did you just skim the box score, or actually watch the game?

He didn't cover 1st base, sure. But if Judge catches an easy fly ball or Volpe makes an easy throw to 3rd, he doesn't have to. Cole was excellent.

Soto is going to get $600+ and he earned it. Yankees can't afford to lose him, but other owners like Cohen and Ricketts are going to offer the moon. It's going to be competitive.

Cashman and Steinbrenner seem oddly faithful to Boone, but I don't know if Boone can survive this. Hal's dad would go scorched earth and fire Boone and trade Judge if he were alive.

Judge had a really bad series, and that market can be brutal to underperforming players but I think he's going to survive and be fine.

Cole was a member of that defense that failed, so his excuses run thin. But he still should've got out of it and pitched well enough to win. Judge botching that fly out was the single biggest contributor to the loss.

If you truly are a fan of this ball club, you should be outraged by this. Especially given how the Dodgers just won a world series with a handful of the Red Sox's own players.

This team needs stop pretending they are Tampa Bay and Oakland and start spending money again. If that means selling this club to someone with deep pockets, then so be it. I am done with the excuses of why this team can't spend to the levels of the Dodgers to get premium talent.

I've said it many times before, but I'd be more comfortable if this team was owned by an oil sheikh or an oligarch from some country rather than Henry and Werner. At least they would spend money to win. I know this isn't like soccer where that is common, but I just want to see my team win again.
