Athletic-Pronman's top 32 for March 25

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
I think Hagens is closer to Cooley than Hughes, but I still take Cooley over anybody in this draft right now.

You take these rankings way too seriously. It's not that big a deal. Hagens is an undersized forward that doesn't have a great two-way game. Desnoyers is a 6'2" two-way forward that has surprised scouts with his production. No need to cry because your favorite player got ranked low
Desnoyers, 6'1.5" 178 lbs -- "great size, tall center"
Hagens 5'10.5" 177 lbs -- "undersized forward"

NHL scouting brain sure is something else

Feels like Pronman doing his typical "reach" for clickbait purposes. I've never found him to be at all reliable.
Pronman reaches all the time (and he did back when he was posting his lists on these boards back in the early 2010s), but there’s no unjustifiable reach here. Desnoyers going 4th overall shouldn’t shock anyone, so putting him at #3 isn’t a big leap from that. A lot of the concerns people have with Desnoyers about his NHL offensive upside are similar concerns people have about Hagens.

Well...that and Q players tend to be overevaluated due to the lack of defense that is played in the league, overall.
